GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:
- book or cancel appointments online
- renew or order repeat prescriptions online
- view parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results
You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at www.nhs.uk/gponlineservices
We would recommend that you register for online access using the official NHS app.
Please follow the link below for the NHS App: NHS App - NHS (www.nhs.uk) .

Using the NHS app for your COVID passport:
From 17 May 2021, people in England who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can demonstrate their vaccination status for international travel. A full course is currently two doses of any approved vaccine. Vaccine status will be available from:
It may take more than a week for your identity to be checked and verified so you can use these services.
If you cannot access these online services, and you have had two vaccines, you can request a paper letter from the NHS by calling 119. Only call 119 if you had your second dose more than five working days ago. It may take seven working days for the letter to arrive.
This practice is not able to provide you with a letter that shows your COVID-19 vaccination status.
Evelyn Medical Centre will use Patient Triage as an Online Consultation platform. Patient Triage enables patients to report medical issues, submit an administrative request, and seek self-help guidance. The practice usually triages the request and responds within a stated timeframe. This protocol outlines appropriate use of the service and how it is embedded in the running of the practice.
